Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile and talented Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Destin, FL. In this role, you will work across the entire software development lifecycle, building intuitive web frontends, designing robust server architectures, and connecting integrations for staffing platforms and CRM tools. You will have an end-to-end impact on feature development, system performance, and application reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Feature Development: Build responsive, intuitive frontend interfaces and seamlessly connect them to backend microservices and databases.
- API Design & Integration: Construct, optimize, and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs to facilitate seamless data syncs between third-party ATS/CRM systems and internal services.
- Database Management: Model data structures and write efficient queries across relational and NoSQL databases.
- Code Quality & Architecture: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across both client- and server-side components.
- System Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks on both frontend and backend architectures, implementing optimizations for speed and scalability.
- Agile Collaboration: Work closely with product management, UI/UX designers, and DevOps engineers to iteratively ship features in an Agile environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience building and deploying production full-stack applications.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) along with HTML5, CSS3/Tailwind, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Strong experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, C# (.NET), or Java.
- Hands-on experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis).
- Proficiency in REST/GraphQL API development and web integration workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker).
- Experience with Git, CI/CD automated deployment pipelines, and unit/integration testing frameworks.
Soft Skills
- Adaptable problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership over the complete feature lifecycle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- A balance between product delivery speed and high architectural standards.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience building integrations for staffing, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), or CRM platforms.
- Understanding of serverless architectures and event-driven systems (webhooks, queues).
